Board of Management
The Minister appoints members to the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission's Board of Management that comprises of a Chairman, Deputy Chairman, seven members and the Chief Executive Officer (Ex-Officio).
The Board is the governing body of the GEDC and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the commission. The Board holds bi-monthly meetings to consider matters relating to the development of the region. It sets strategic directions for the GEDC, approves major expenditure and provides advice to the Minister on regional issues.

Mr Thomson is the Managing Director of Logistic Management Services Pty Ltd, Chairman of the Regional Development Council, LMS Ministries Ltd, Regional Chaplaincy Services, and the Family Training Institute Inc. Graham is the coordinator of the annual Diggers and Dealers Mining Forum and a City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Councillor. Graham is very passionate about the Region and is committed to the long-term economic and social sustainability of the Region.
Brenda Tilbrook

Mrs Brenda Tilbrook is a Ravensthorpe local and the President of the Ravensthorpe Shire Council. Brenda is also involved in the Rural Communities Program, the South East Coastal Regional Education and Training Group, the South East Coastal Shires Alliance, the Ravensthorpe Anglican Parish Council and the Ravensthorpe Health Advisory Committee. Brenda works tirelessly behind-the-scenes to ensure positive social and economic outcomes for the Region.
Anthony Bright

Mr Bright is a Regional Development Consultant. He is a past employee of the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission. Mr Bright's expertise and insights add considerable value to the Board. He is well placed to represent the best interests of the southern parts of the region that include the Shires of Esperance and Ravensthorpe.
Jeffery Carter

Mr Jeffery Carter is currently the Shire President at the Shire of Leonora. He is a Pastoralist within the Shire of Leonora and with his knowledge of the region is well placed to represent the interests of the Northern Goldfields Shires.
Jon Price

Mr Price is General Manager of Norton Gold Fields Limited’s Paddington Gold Mine located north of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Mr Price’s active involvement in the community coupled with his resource industry background will add considerable value to the GEDC Board. He understands the need for the resource sector to engage with and be involved in the local community.
Suzanne Williams

Ms Williams is a local business owner who has travelled extensively across the Goldfields-Esperance region. Ms Williams is focused on developing the region into a network of self-sustainable family communities.
Ron Yuryevich

MrYuryevich is a businessman and current Mayor of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Mr Yuryevich has lived in Kalgoorlie-Boulder all his life and is strongly committed to economic and social development in the Goldfields-Esperance region.
Lawrence Hamilton

Mr Hamilton is currently the Director Schools, Goldfields Education District for the Department of Education and Training and has significant experience and achievements in the education and training sector. Mr Hamilton has a passion for the Goldfields-Esperance Region and is focused on quality of life issues, social and structural support to the community and intergenerational projects for the region.
Wayne Rodgers

Mr Rodgers is currently a Councillor of the Shire of Esperance. He is also a business owner and currently serves as Chairman of the Goldfields and Esperance Regional Road Group. Mr Rodgers is committed to regional development for the Goldfields-Esperance Region.
