Goldfields-Esperance Regional Development Scheme (GERDS)

The Goldfields-Esperance Regional Development Scheme (GERDS) supports projects that improve social and economic development in the Goldfields-Esperance Region.

The funding is targeted at providing financial assistance to regionally based or represented organisations. Eligible applicants include local government authorities, state government agencies, voluntary organisations, business groups, educational institutions, philanthropic foundations and community organisations.

2007/2008

The 2007/2008 Goldfields-Esperance Regional Development Scheme Funding Round opened on 8 October 2007 and closed on 16 November 2007.

Successful applicants were approved on the 28th March 2008 by the Honourable Ljiljanna Ravlich MLC, Minister for Local Government; Racing and Gaming; Multicultural Interests and Citizenship; Government Enterprises; Minister Assisting the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure; Goldfields-Esperance; Youth.

A total of $500,000 was allocated to the Goldfields-Esperance Regional Development Scheme for the year 2007/08.
