Applications for 2018 WA AgriFutures™ Rural Women’s Award close 29 October.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is proud to support the 2018 WA AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award which acknowledges and encourages the essential role that women  play in rural industries, businesses and communities.
 
West Australian women, above the age of 18, involved in or creating innovative approaches to challenges in rural and regional industries, businesses and communities are encouraged to apply for the 2018 WA AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award.
 
A $10,000 bursary is awarded to the winner, providing the financial resources to realise their project or initiative that will benefit rural industries, businesses and/or communities. The winner will be provided with opportunities to participate in leadership development and access to a valuable alumni network. State Winners will also be considered for the National Award. The National Award Winner will be awarded an additional $10,000 bursary and National Runner Up, an additional $5,000 towards developing their project or initiative, this may also be used to assist in meeting national commitments such as speaking engagements.
