The new financial year will see a transformation of the Australian Government employment services that support business and industry with recruitment and workforce planning solutions. The Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) has launched a new Workforce Australia employment services online platform, which will allow businesses to self-manage their recruitment needs in a way that offers better applicant matching and dynamic servicing. Employment Service Providers offer business intensive support by working closely with candidates and employers to meet workforce needs and provide personalised employee pathways; wage subsidies up to $10,000; training, licences and other supports to strengthen employment outcomes. Local service providers in the Kalgoorlie and Esperance areas include Training Alliance Group, SMYL, Waalitj, APM Employment Services, and Skillhire. These providers offer a variety of work-place readiness, transition to work, and employment programs to meet labour demand opportunities.
