The third round of successful Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants have been announced for the Goldfields-Esperance region by the Minister for Regional Development, Hon. Alannah MacTiernan MLC. The projects funded in the Goldfields-Esperance region include: Goldfields Fit-for-Purpose Water Research project - Curtin University - $200,000 Tjuntjuntjara Microgrid and Battery Storage project - Paupiyala Tjarutja Aboriginal Corporation - $185,400 New Skills, Ancient Practices project - Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation - $136,500 Facility Upgrade and B-Qual Certification - Esperance Honey - $133,200 Kanowna Historic Site and Heritage Trail - Eastern Goldfields Historical Society - $105,500 Still Upgrade project - Esperance Distillery - $10,200 For more information on the Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants Program, please visit the RED Grants webpage.
