The GEDC was proud to be a sponsor of the KBCCI Goldfields Business Awards which were held on Saturday 9 September 2023. The annual award night is in its 34th year and boasted the highest attendance, with over 400 people enjoying the Winter Wonderland themed event, recognising and celebrating the thriving Goldfields’ business community. Capturing the talent and diversity of local Goldfields’ businesses, the awards attracted 93 employee and business nominations across a range of award categories.
GEDC Chair, Terrence Winner presented the GEDC sponsored award for ‘Executive Professional of the Year’ to Dirk De Beer, Managing Director of local mining services business Goldfields NDT.
Commercial plumbing business, Emyjor Services was awarded Goldfields Business of the Year 2023, with Managing Director, Greg Bowden also taking out top honours for ‘Business Person of the Year’.
