The Curtin Kalgoorlie Career Open Day Open Day was held on Wednesday, 18 August, at Curtin’s WA School of Mines. The Rural Health Campus was a hive of colour and activity with an expo in the Graduates Hall, talks at the WMC Conference Centre, and university tours. School students from across the Goldfields met with representatives from the various study areas of Curtin University, including mining, engineering, business, education, and health to explore future learning possibilities and pathways to enrolment. Central Regional TAFE, the Australian Aboriginal Mining Academy, and a variety of industry organisations in attendance were also popular with students as they reached out to discuss vocational study information and career opportunities.
