Development WA (DevWA) Board members visited Kalgoorlie-Boulder on 12 June 2023 to meet with Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission and other local stakeholders to discuss housing, land, and industrial land matters in the region. While in Kalgoorlie-Boulder Board members visited current project sites including GreenView, ANZAC Drive Industrial, Lot 505 and other land sites of significance.
GEDC CEO, Kris Starcevich, presented to the DevWA Board the latest Housing and Land statistics, economic snapshot for the region and shared the several initiatives and studies undertaken to date that provide an on-the ground, region-specific understanding of issues and opportunities in the region.
The DevWA Board also received an information pack including a hardcopy of the latest GEDC Goldfields-Esperance Housing and Land Summary. The GEDC will continue to collaborate with State agencies and key stakeholders to progress housing, land and industrial land initiatives in the region.
