GEDC is delighted to support the recent release of the 15th regional recording compilation from West Australian Music (WAM). The 23-track double album is the first of its kind, showcasing stories from artists at the furthest north and south of our region. WAM’s pop-up studio spent nine days recording artists in the north of the region, in the remote Mirlirrtjarra Community (Warburton) – amidst the expansive desert horizons in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands near the tri-state border. Following a multi-day, 1,200km drive south, WAM then set up studio in Esperance, on the state’s southern coastline, to record the second album of local artists.
