Goldfields-based Aboriginal businesses can apply for grants of up to $20,000 as part of the Goldfields Building Better Aboriginal Business (BBAB) grant program.

The State Government funding, administered by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), supports businesses as they undertake training in corporate governance and strategy development, positioning them to pursue new opportunities in the Goldfields, and increase their earning and employment capacity.

The grants will help business owners and operators to effectively implement their business action plans, build business confidence, and identify opportunities to diversify and expand.

Successful applicants will receive specialist support suited to the needs of their business.

For more information, call Jade Malanczak 0428 234 427, visit the DPIRD website for application guides and forms, or email aed@dpird.wa.gov.au.

Applications are now open, closing 4.30pm on 14 April 2022. Application guides and forms can be found on the DPIRD website.
