04Nov2021 The GEDC Board travelled to Laverton for its October Board meeting. The GEDC Board travelled to Laverton for its October Board meeting. The Board met with representatives from the Shire of Laverton including Shire President Patrick Hill and visited the Laverton CRC and the newly expanded Great Beyond Visitor Centre. The Board also received a presentation from Australian Potash, which is working in partnership with Central Regional TAFE, MEEDAC, local shires, mining companies and local Aboriginal people to deliver local skills and employment pathways through the Laverton Training Centre.
