The GEDC is partnering with the KBCCI, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and Regional Development Australia Goldfields Esperance on a Kalgoorlie Housing and Land Needs study and future position paper. This significant piece of work will inform future discussions with local and state government decision makers to influence policy development and alleviate the accommodation and labor shortage issues in the region. It will also be a valuable resource for commercial investors and employers. A short survey has been prepared by the KBCCI to inform this study. Local business and industry is encouraged to complete this important survey so that a comprehensive understanding of our housing and land shortages and the impact it is having on our labour market can be gained.
