GEDC CEO Kris Starcevich chaired the inaugural meeting of the newly formed Kalgoorlie Industrial land Strategic Forum in late September. The Forum has been formed to ensure the timely development of new industrial land at Lot 350 in Kalgoorlie, and to provide local connections to industry proponents and advice to State agencies on the development of the land, to achieve maximum economic benefits to the region. Members of the Forum include the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Development WA, Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, and GEDC as chair, with other organisations welcome to attend to brief on relevant issues or opportunities. Business and industry proponents interested in leasing or purchasing future industrial lots at Lot 350 are encouraged to register their interest early through the Development WA website.
