The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s annual Business Awards are a premier event designed to recognise and celebrate the quality and diversity of the regional business and not-for profit community. GEDC is a proud supporter of this event, participating as Business Awards category judges and sponsoring the Aboriginal Business of the Year category award. GEDC Board member Shaneane Weldon presented the Aboriginal Business of the Year Award to Rowena Leslie and Katrina Stubbs of Kai Rho Contracting. The judges for this award were impressed with Kai Rho’s consistently high level of delivery within the mining services sector, and its passion for people through a growing, skilled Indigenous workforce.
