The latest Goldfields-Esperance Housing and Land Summary for the second half of 2022 (July-December 2022) is now available on the GEDC website. Published every six months by the GEDC, the Housing and Land Summary is designed to inform and provide insights about residential property market trends, data and issues in the region. This Summary is the fifth in a periodic season prepared with market profiles of each Goldfields-Esperance local government area as well as suburb profiles for the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
In this edition, housing demand continued to show significant growth in the second half of 2022. House and unit sales remain elevated compared to pre-COVID-19 levels, and property prices further increased. The rental market remained tight with the region’s vacancy rate recorded at 0.5% in December 2022.
