Filming commenced last week for the third series of the acclaimed drama TV series Mystery Road: Origin in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. This production, which showcases the Goldfields-Esperance region, is supported by the State Government’s $16 million Western Australian Screen Fund. As part of our Film Friendly initiatives, the GEDC has been working with Bunya Productions to create employment opportunities, training and mentoring for local people and businesses, as well as assisting the producers with location scouting across the Goldfields.
