The GEDC CEO was privileged to be invited, along with other public sector leaders, to spend two days on Tjiwarl Country last week in the northern part of our region. This was an invaluable opportunity to meet with Traditional Owners and directors from Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation to listen, learn and experience their culture. GEDC CEO Kris Starcevich said it was a vital chance to gain a better understanding of the Traditional Owners’ aspirations for the future. "I'd like to thank everyone involved in organising the visit - a wonderful experience - especially the Traditional Owners for sharing their cultural and personal stories and places," he said.
