Perth is the host city for the 2023 World Indigenous Tourism Summit, to be held in March 2023.

The WA Indigenous Tourism Operators Council (WAITOC) is now accepting Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal tourism businesses and individuals who might like to be funded to attend the summit.

The GEDC is sponsoring three opportunities for Aboriginal tourism operators from the region to attend.

The Expression of Interest and selection process is being facilitated by WAITOC.

For more information call Gabby from WAITOC on 0484 141 305 or register your interest here.

This exciting international event features culturally significant Indigenous tourism leaders and speakers from a number of nations, including outgoing WAITOC chair Doc Reynolds, from Esperance (Kepa Kurl).

Doc, pictured, was recently awarded the Sir David Brand Medal at the 2022 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards for his contribution to the tourism industry.
