Over $10 million in funding has been provided by the State and Australian governments to upgrade mobile black spot sites identified in the Goldfields-Esperance Region. The funding will be allocated to support macro towers in the following locations: Munglinup north Munglinup north west Munglinup south east Beaumont north; and Merivale south east Additional funding will be provided to improve digital connectivity for the following communities in the Goldfields: Tjuntjuntjara; and Kurrawang The new mobile black spot initiatives will be rolled out by Telstra. Other macro towers due to be installed in locations near Esperance during 2024 include sites at Bandy Creek, Myrup, Pink Lake south and a small cell at Munglinup Camp Area. SHARE Back To News Stories
