More than 240 locals and visitors took part in the What’s Down the Track Forum and Exhibition in Kalgoorlie-Boulder on 17 November. The annual event saw key industry leaders present updates, announce new projects and address potential challenges in the region over the next 12 months, in areas ranging from mining, housing and education to local government and commercial development. GEDC CEO Kris Starcevich, pictured, presented on the region’s economic development opportunities and the Commission’s role in supporting key initiatives and projects. The GEDC also hosted a booth at the event, with staff in attendance using the event as an opportunity to engage with participants and network. Hosted by the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the forum featured a total of 21 exhibitors, providing opportunities for delegates to learn more about the region from the local enterprises and organisations.
