Last weekend, GEDC Chair Sabina Shugg and staff attended the 2022 Goldfields Business Awards, hosted by the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce.
The evening had a glamorous 'Kal Vegas' theme and featured spectacular dance performances from the Kalgoorlie Dance Academy.
The event recognised the many local businesses and employees who have played a significant role in the buoyant Goldfields economy and community.
Ms Shugg, pictured, presented the Apprentice Trainee (3-4 years) Employee Award, sponsored by the GEDC, to winner Tim Stafford from Flex Industries.
GEDC staff also participated as a category judge for the Awards this year.
