GEDC staff attended the Full Circle Therapies Open Play Day on 21 January 2022 to view the new Lotterywest therapy garden and meet Full Circle Therapies staff.
Full Circle Therapies provides support for children and their families, delivering individualised therapy programs to assist with the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child.
Services are currently provided from three demountable buildings that are not fit-for purpose, but the State Government has committed to investing $2.76 million to construct a purpose-built therapy centre in Kalgoorlie-Boulder to enable children with special needs to access specialised therapies and allied health.
The facility will be constructed by Full Circle Therapies, more than doubling the capacity of the centre, allowing the organisation to employ additional specialist staff and increase local service provision to people in Kalgoorlie and surrounds.
