The GEDC has recently commissioned a study to identify potential actions and initiatives to address workforce challenges facing the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) industry in the Goldfields-Esperance region.
The study will focus on developing an understanding of local issues and identifying existing or new initiatives that could be applied in the Goldfields-Esperance region, as well as completing an analysis of cost, expected benefits and potential funding partners for suggested solutions.
Initiatives will be aimed at improving staff attraction and retention, and strengthening educators' capabilities, therefore increasing the quality and availability of early childhood education and care services in the region.
Regular updates on this project will be provided via our newsletter.
