The State Government is reforming Western Australia’s planning system to make it more transparent, consistent and to reduce unnecessary ‘red tape’.
GEDC staff attended a consultation forum in Kalgoorlie on 30 July 2021 hosted by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Planning, Jessica Stojkovski MLA, to learn more about the proposed reforms.
Participants at the forum also had an opportunity to suggest their own ideas on what could, or should, be done to improve and simplify the planning system and ultimately create great places for people.
