10Jul2018 Get involved in an Arts and Culture Trail for our region! The idea of a Goldfields-Esperance resource, to connect arts and cultural experiences across the region, has long been imagined. After many months of planning and development, the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission (GEDC) is pleased to support local arts organisation, ArtGold, with the commencement of the Goldfields-Esperance Arts and Culture Trail. Supported by Royalties for Regions funding from the State Government, the GEDC and funding from Lotterywest, ArtGold has started to identify arts and culture groups, events and assets within the region, and is seeking assistance from the Goldfields-Esperance community to collect information for inclusion in the Trail. Arts and cultural entities from Ravensthorpe to Eucla, Wiluna to Warburton and everywhere in between, can become connected through this digital based project, that will deliver an interactive website and phone app for community members and tourists alike.
