Industry Growth Program
The Australian Government’s Industry Growth Program provides an Advisory Service for startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) undertaking innovative commercialisation and/or growth projects that are within the priority areas of the Australian Government’s National Reconstruction Fund (NRF) and help build Australia’s manufacturing capability for the future.

Clean Energy Future Fund
This program aims to provide a source of funding of innovative clean energy projects in Western Australian that offer high public value through the following outcomes:
- significant, cost-effective reduction in emissions below projected (or baseline) emissions as a direct result of the clean energy project
design, deployment, testing or demonstration of innovative clean energy projects likely to deliver community benefits or lead to broad adoption and significant reductions in emissions.
Amount: $100,000 to $4 million (GST exclusive)

Advancing Renewables Program
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) Advancing Renewables Program supports a range of development, demonstration and pre-commercial deployment projects. This includes opportunities to optimise the transition to renewable electricity, commercialise clean hydrogen and support the transition to low emission metals.

Supply Chain Capacity Program
The program, administered by Regional Business Development Corporation, aims to ensure the onshore processing supply chain in WA is better positioned to meet the demands of processing sheep following the phase out of live exports by sea.

Small Business Export Loan
The Australian Government’s Small Business Export Loan provides small to medium export businesses with loans of $20,000 – $350,000 to cover up to 80% of the costs to secure an export contract or purchase order with an overseas buyer. The loans are designed to meet the specific needs of small and medium sized businesses, to take advantage of export opportunities when financial institutions cannot assist.

Powering the Regions Industrial Transformation Stream (ITS)
This grant is available to support industrial facilities in regional Australia to reduce emissions in line with Australia’s 2030 emissions reduction goals and transition to net zero by 2050. It is open for applications supporting a range of industrial decarbonisation solutions, including but not limited, to electrification, energy efficiency, low emissions processing and fuel switching.Applications may be made at any time.

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations’ Self Employment Assistance Program can help with your business idea or existing business through services including workshops, business plan development, free accredited Small Business Training, Business Advice Sessions, Business Health Check and coaching.

First Nations Clean Energy Advice Grant

This Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) grant aims to support the Australian grains industry and recognise the value in grower, researcher and industry engagement.

Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Worker Retention Payment
This Australian Government funding supports a wage increase for all eligible ECEC workers from December 2024. The Australian Government has announced a total investment of $3.6 billion towards the ECEC Worker Retention Payment, of this up to $3.5 billion has been made available for this grant opportunity. The grant funding awarded under this grant opportunity grant will be available from the first business day in December 2024 to 30 November 2026.

Australian Training Awards
The annual awards acknowledge individuals, businesses and registered training organisations who demonstrate best practice and innovation in Australia’s critical VET sector.

Building Early Education Fund – Small-scale Grants
This grant round provides funding to –
- build or expand a Centre Based Day Care (CBDC) service for children aged 0 to 5 years, or
- modify a building to deliver in-venue Family Day Care in communities with no existing ECEC.
This round is competitive and targets outer suburbs, regional and remote communities.
It is open to small not-for-profit Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved providers.
If your proposed project involves building or expanding a CBDC service, your organisation must currently operate between 1 to 9 CBDC services.
You must have the support of your local council and secure tenure over the land to apply.
You can submit one site per application and one application per legal entity. Funding is capped at $3 million per site.
We will prioritise projects:
- that can be delivered by 31 March 2028
- near school sites
- in areas of high unmet need
- that improve access to high-quality and culturally safe ECEC for First Nations communities.

Provider: Westpac FoundationBetter Futures Grants provide $50,000 per year for two years to support organisations optimising opportunities for primary school aged children experiencing disadvantage to learn.

Community Stewardship Grants – Small and Large

Active Regional Communities Grant
The WA government’s Active Regional Communities (ARC) Grants Program aims to increase the opportunities for regional people to participate in sport and active recreation activities in regional WA and is tailored to meet the demands and challenges of sport and active recreation groups within the nine regions of the WA including the Goldfields-Esperance region.

Lotterywest Grants
Grants are available to projects that meet one of Lotterywest’s priority areas, including inclusive thriving community, connected cultural experiences, protected sustainable ecosystems, smart innovative society and active healthy people.

Accessible Australia Initiative
Accessible Australia is a national program that helps make community spaces easier to use for people with disability. It provides funding to improve built spaces and natural areas like buildings, playgrounds, beaches, and parks.
Accessible Australia will fund:
- fixed Changing Places toilet facilities
- portable Changing Places toilet facilities
- portable equipment for inclusive beaches (like beach wheelchairs, floating wheelchairs and accessible beach matting)
- portable amenities for inclusive national parks (like all-terrain wheelchairs and accessible paths)
- fixed inclusive play spaces (like liberty swings and all-access spinners).
Accessible Australia replaces the Changing Places initiative. It now includes more ways to make public spaces easier to use for people with disability.
Eligible To: State/Territory Governments, Local Governments and Not-for-Profits
Amount Funded: Undisclosed (varies from 50% to 100% of project cost depending on the activity/ies)

Horizon Power – Community Partnerships
Registered not-for-profit organisations, community groups and local government authorities in Horizon Power’s local service are eligible to apply for grant funding from $1,000 to $50,000 if their initiatives impact local communities within Horizon Power’s service areas.

This program offers grants up to $5 million to develop a precinct idea through to investment-ready stage in partnership with local stakeholders to benefit regional communities.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community Group Grant
The grant provides financial assistance to not-for-profit community groups and organisations for projects that strengthen and enhance the social wellbeing, development and sustainability of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community. There are three categories available from community group grant, outstanding individual grant and sponsorship of hire fees.

Tourism WA – Regional Events Program Funding
The Regional Events Program provides support to major regional events that are seeking over $40,000 in funding.
The aim of the funding program is to support medium to large regional events which bring more people to the region and create visitor spend, attract media coverage which promotes the destination, involves the local community and adds vibrancy to the region, supports local jobs and encourages visitors to come outside of the typical tourist season. -
WA Agricultural Show Grant

The Australian Government is providing funding to assist Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs) generate economic benefits through the effective and sustainable management of their land, to increase capacity of PBCs to take advantage of economic opportunities, build long-term organisational capacity within PBCs and support native title agreement making. Funding will support applications that are clearly focused on the medium to long-term recovery and resilience building of the local community.

Community Water Supplies Partnership (CWSP) Program
Program objectives
- To assist broadacre farming communities in establishing or improving non-potable water supplies
- Increase water available for emergency livestock and firefighting to better prepare communities for periods of low rainfall
- Ensure water is available for public amenities to reduce reliance on potable water supplies for non-potable needs and
- Provide assistance to areas that have a history of water deficiency or where on-farm and non-potable community water supplies are unreliable
What are the priority funding objectives?
- Establish or upgrade strategic emergency water supplies for firefighting and livestock
- A project must provide clear benefits to the community
- Reduce reliance on scheme water; and
- Increase public amenities through the irrigation of open spaces, such as ovals, gardens and parks
How much funding is available?
- Up to $100,000 is available for each project and all funds must be acquitted by June 2027
- Funding requests above $100,000 may be considered subject to approval by the department
- Multiple projects can be applied for per LGA
How much co-contribution must applicants make?
- Applicants must contribute a minimum of 30 per cent of the total project cost
- Greater co-contribution ratios will be held in higher regard
- Contribution may include in-kind funding
- Funds received from other government funding programs cannot be used to satisfy the Community Water Supply Program co-contribution requirement

Rural Financial Counselling Service (2027-32) Grant Program
The Rural Financial Counselling Service Program (the Program) provides free and independent financial counselling to eligible farmers, fishers, foresters and small-related enterprises who are experiencing, or at risk of, financial hardship. The Program is delivered across 12 pre-defined services regions covering the whole of Australia.
The objective of the program is to:
- Support structural adjustment through transitioning clients out of immediate financial crisis or concerns, assessing business viability to make informed decisions about the future of the business and improving financial wellbeing and resilience through building clients’ financial knowledge and skills, and by referring clients to other professional services.
The intended outcome of the program is:
- To build financially capable agricultural, fishing and forestry sectors that are profitable, financially self-reliant and better prepared to deal with risks.
$104 million (GST exclusive) is available over 5 years for the provision of services across the 12 service regions. One grantee will be selected per service region. Applicants may apply to deliver services in more than one service region.
