Mason’s House, Full Circle’s new purpose-built therapy centre for children has officially opened in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, made possible through a $2.76 million State Government election commitment.
Minister for Health; Mental Health, Hon Meredith Hammat MLA was joined by Member for Kalgoorlie, Ali Kent and Full Circle Therapies Chairperson and Founder, Luke Bowler to officially open the new facility which will provide paediatric allied health services for families across the Goldfields.
Mason’s House, named in honour of the first child supported through Full Circle Therapies over 15 years ago, includes dedicated therapy rooms, a specialised sensory and acoustic space, meeting areas and family-friendly outdoor therapy spaces.
The upgraded centre will help improve access to early intervention services in the Goldfields and reduce the need for families to travel long distances for specialised care.
Minister Hammat said the investment was about strengthening essential health services in regional communities. “Mason’s House is a significant investment in the health and wellbeing of children and families in the Goldfields. The new facility means families can access high-quality paediatric allied health services closer to home.”
This investment is an important development in specialist care available to families across the Goldfields. Now having a purpose-built space designed for therapy and early intervention, Full Circle Therapies can continue to grow its support for the community and help more local kids access the care they need, closer to home.
