At the end of January, GEDC Regional Development Officer, Gary Bonney and Local Content Adviser, Jude Daley visited Menzies, Leonora and Laverton, where they met local representatives and businesses, promoting the Aboriginal Business Leadership Initiative (ABLI).
This program offers comprehensive support to help build leadership capacity, strengthen operational skills and improve business resilience for long-term success. With a flexible and tailored approach, the ABLI ensures that participants receive the specific support to grow their businesses.
Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and GEDC have engaged Kaala Barna Aboriginal Consultancy to deliver the program, which will run for eight weeks and include a mix of small-group workshops, one-on-one mentoring and counselling sessions.
