The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has opened registrations for the inaugural Early Childhood Education and Care Conference – ‘Growing Together’ – set to take place on Saturday, 26 October 2024.

This event is part of the Goldfields Professional Development Project and is supported with grant funding from the Department of Communities’ Attraction and Retention Packages for Childcare Educators Program.

The project is being delivered by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in collaboration with the Shires of Coolgardie and Leonora, with support from the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission and Central Regional TAFE.

The conference features a week-long professional development series for early childhood and care educators, running from 26 October to 1 November 2024. In addition to a flagship event, a range of follow-up sessions will be held across the Goldfields, including an autism awareness evening in Kalgoorlie-Boulder on 29 October 2024.

These events are free and open to all Early Childhood Education and Care educators from Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Coolgardie, and Leonora.
