The GEDC and the Shire of Dundas hosted a Dundas Mining Business Information Session in Norseman on 13 October featuring speakers from Karora Resources, Pantoro Limited, IGO and METS WA Export Hub.
More than 100 people attended the session to hear an overview of current resource projects in Dundas and the potential procurement opportunities for local businesses.
METS WA Export Hub also provided an overview of the services they provide to SME, mining, and mining services companies.
The forum, which included an opportunity to network over lunch, was well received by mining companies and local businesses alike.
The GEDC is co-hosting a similar forum with the Fitzgerald Business Network in Hopetoun in November and is anticipating similar forums in Coolgardie and the Northern Goldfields in early 2022.
