Esperance Sculpture Trail secures $6 million Lotterywest grant for next stages

On 5th February, Minister for Goldfields-Esperance, Hon David Michael visited the Cannery Arts Centre to announce a $6 million grant from Lotterywest towards the Esperance Sculpture Trail project.

The Trail is an initiative being led by FORM, alongside the Esperance Sculpture Trail (EST) Committee and project initiators, the Mt Burdett Foundation, and aims to create a world-class Trail that will reflect the landscapes and communities of Esperance.

The Minister was joined by representatives from Lotterywest, FORM, Mt Burdett Foundation, Shire and members of the arts community for this significant announcement.

The project team has been engaging with the Esperance community since 2024, providing capacity building and positive opportunities for artists and the broader community with funding now allowing for the next phase of development.
