During 2024, the Fitzgerald Business Network (FBN) has delivered vital support to local businesses and community organisations across the Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun area, following the closure of mines in the region.
With more than 130 hours of business advisory sessions plus workshops and individual coaching sessions, FBN has assisted businesses to diversify their services and upskill staff, as well as creating a local business collaboration network.
Fitzy Futures – FBN’s newest initiative – will bring together local businesses and residents to explore new opportunities for the region.
This one-day event scheduled for 27 February 2025, will support jobseekers in the workforce and school leavers to connect with exciting opportunities in the ‘Fitz’ region. The event will showcase training programs, new jobs and unique lifestyle activities that will encourage individuals to stay and work within the community.
Businesses and individuals will also have continued access to business training sessions, workshops and tailored HR support during early 2025, delivered by the FBN.
