The GEDC is proud to have taken home Gold for the second year in a row at the recent IPAA W.S. Lonnie Awards. The GEDC was recognised for their high standard of Annual Reporting in the General Government Sector – Agencies with Under 100 Full Time Employees category.
Regan Brewer, Director Regional Development received the award on behalf of the GEDC at the presentation event last week where judges commented the 2024-25 Annual Report as being “a well-presented report with strong acknowledgements, well identified priorities, and solid narrative flow. Judges valued the regional statistics and structure, functional links, and narrative which highlighted priorities and achievements”.
The W.S. Lonnie Awards excellence, accountability, and transparency in government annual reporting. Established in 1984, the awards are hosted by IPAA Western Australia, honouring top State Public Service reports that promote good corporate governance and quality reporting in the WA Government sector.
