An initiative designed to enhance business leadership skills is being launched in the Goldfields-Esperance region, shaped in consultation with local Aboriginal businesses.
The Aboriginal Business Leadership Initiative (ABLI) is a targeted development program aimed at Aboriginal business leaders. It focuses on strengthening personal leadership skills and providing support for business development.
The 2025-26 ABLI program was announced in June 2025, following the successful Yuwa Aboriginal Business Conference in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
Since 2017, the initiative has been delivered in six WA regions, including in the Goldfields-Esperance, assisting 72 Aboriginal businesses.
Details about the upcoming ABLI program including how to apply, will be promoted locally by the GEDC, DPIRD and the Goldfields Aboriginal Business Chamber, when finalised, or contact Gary Cooper at GEDC to discuss further.
