Mining, major infrastructure investment, regional economic growth, and decarbonisation in the Goldfields-Esperance region were key topics at Western Australia’s largest infrastructure and major projects event last week.
GEDC CEO Kris Starcevich joined Hon David Michael MLA, Minister for Goldfields-Esperance, at the WA Major Projects Conference in Perth. The Minister highlighted the significant work underway across regional WA, with a strong focus on the Goldfields-Esperance region. This includes major investment in mineral production and exploration, alongside housing, infrastructure, water security and clean energy projects.
The region continues to gain momentum, driven by new developments and innovation which are creating more local jobs, strengthening community and creating sustainable futures.
