GVROC meets in Shire of Coolgardie

Local government authorities from across the Goldfields-Esperance region met in the town of Kambalda last week to share information and discuss their community priorities.

The group, known as the Goldfields Voluntary Regional Organisation of Councils (GVROC) meets regularly during the year.

The GEDC, along with other regional bodies and guest speakers, attends GVROC meetings to listen to local matters, provide an update on its initiatives in the region and as a representative agency of the State Government.

This final meeting of 2021 focused on housing and accommodation, a critical issue for communities across the region that can impede people from taking up jobs and migrating to the region.
