Do you know anyone who is interested in working with the Kid Snow feature film being produced in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the Goldfields?
Kid Snow is a WA-produced tale of redemption set in the 1970s world of tent boxing, which saw professional fighters tour local towns to face off against local challengers.
It is the first feature film to kick-off production in Western Australia since the state’s border came down.
Production is set to end in Goldfields-Esperance on Friday, 10 June, and the production crew is seeking: assistance with the art and costume department (general labour, packing and unpacking of items, helping to erect the boxing tent); nurses; and drivers with standard and truck licences.
Where possible, production will also provide work or training opportunities for locals in the following areas or roles:
- Cast drivers/taxi service
- Location assistants/scouts
- Unit casuals/swing drivers
- Art Department & production runners
- Construction crew
- Unit nurses
