The Minister for Goldfields-Esperance, David Michael, visited local business – Esperance Smash Repairs – during May to officially open their new automotive downdraft spray booth, which was supported with funding through a Regional Economic Development (RED) grant.
With the new spray booth operational, Esperance Smash Repairs can now repair and spray more vehicles, increasing overall productivity for the business and getting vehicles back on the road sooner.
A total of six projects received funding through Round 7 of the RED Grants program supporting economic growth and development in the region.
The Regional Economic Development Grants program is delivered by the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission with support from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
