After many months of hard work, consultation and collaboration with Local Governments and regional stakeholders, the Goldfields-Esperance Regional Drought Resilience Plan is now finalised.
The Plan outlines coordinated actions to improve water security across the Goldfields-Esperance region. Following a public comment period and consultation earlier in the year, the Plan has been completed and will now transition into its implementation phase. This next stage will support the region in progressing priority actions identified in the Plan, with a focus on strengthening water security and resilience.
The GEDC thanks those who have been involved in the development of the Plan and looks forward to continuing to work collaboratively with stakeholders in the next phase of the project.
