GEDC staff and GEDC Deputy Chair, Tracey Rathbone attended the Australian Government’s National Housing and Homelessness Plan Public Consultation session last week. The community forum brought together a range of stakeholders to explore housing and homelessness challenges specific to our region.
The Plan aims to set out key reforms needed to address housing challenges and will provide a shared vision to inform future housing and homelessness policy in Australia. There are several ways to engage with the consultation process, including two online public webinars scheduled for 21 September and 30 October 2023.
