Unlocking access to land, regional housing and infrastructure development, and strong foundations for future growth were some of the key themes presented by CEO Kris Starcevich to attendees at this year’s What’s Down the Track forum, hosted by the KBCCI. Kris provided an overview of major focus areas for the GEDC over the next year which include industrial land release, the Kalgoorlie rail realignment project and regional infrastructure and housing at Kalgoorlie’s premier annual business and industry forum. With economic growth and investment in the region reaching new heights across a range of sectors, the GEDC continues to focus on regional coordination and collaboration with a range of stakeholders to ensure the region is well placed to accommodate new economic and social opportunities.
