The Esperance Mechanical Restoration Group (EMRG) secured $5,000 in State Government funding through a 2025 Small Grant, facilitated by the GEDC. Funding supported the purchase of transportable crowd-control safety fencing for use at local events such as the Esperance Show, providing a protective barrier between operating machinery and the general public.
A total of 32 recipients from across the region were awarded grants through the Small Grants Program. The GEDC has been working with EMRG to deliver their project and continues to support other recipients in progressing their projects.
